About Us

Getting Involved in Keeping Pensacola-Escambia Beautiful

As you drive through the streets of your community look at it as though you are a visitor.  Do you like what you see?  Too many times we take our surroundings for granted.  We begin to ignore the overgrown lots, unkempt yards, and trash along our roadsides, but visitors notice!

By pulling neighbors together you can help make a difference!  Clean & Green can help organize your cleanup effort.  Sometimes, it takes just one person to get involved--you may be that neighborhood leader. It’s as simple as getting your youth groups, schools, organizations, churches, local businesses or neighborhood watches together for an organized cleanup or beautification project.

With community involvement we can make Pensacola and Escambia County a cleaner and greener place to live.

Clean & Green was recognized as an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful (KAB) in July 1995 and that affiliation has afforded the organization the opportunity to receive awards for cleanups and programs on a national level and provide us access to up to date environmental programs and resources.

was formed by a group of concerned citizens in 1978 who did take the lead to be involved.  We were officially chartered as a non-profit in April
